Ultrafast dynamics of photophysical processes in small clusters
Studying molecular clusters is important to bridge the gap between our understanding of elementary atomic processes and nanotechnology. The aim of my project is to investigate the ultrafast dynamics in small quantum systems like (bio)molecules and clusters using momentum imaging electron-ion spectroscopy (see Figure) and different light sources like synchrotron radiation, free-electron-lasers and attosecond sources. An important aspect of the my work is to develop a versatile sample delivery setup that is compatible with different light sources.
